About Us

The Lynn Yacht Club was founded in 1870 by returning Civil War Veterans, XI Corps, Army of the Potomac, 2nd Division, and is one of the oldest yacht clubs in the United States. From our humble beginnings with 16 original members, the Lynn Yacht Club now boasts almost 200 Regular and Social members..  Our club is nestled conveniently in the back of Lynn Harbor and is within easy sailing or boating distance to and from Boston Harbor. Our updated Lounge and Deck area overlooks our beautiful marina backlit by a stunning view of the Boston Skyline. The marina has 52 slips that includes sailboats and powerboats, with a 25 ton Travel Lift to haul the fleet in and out. For more information on our facilities and membership options contact us.
